How to start apache as a service

I'm relatively new to this and have a rather easy question, I think. I have Apache2.2.8 running under SFU3.5 on a Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2 server. I just need to know how to start Apache automatically on the powerup. Note that it is installed under SFU and NOT as a Windows Service. I thought that I would be able to do it under the init.d, but so far have seen different info on this.
Thanks for your help.
